It is very important that some things are already prepared for the additional family member, before the puppy moves in his new home.
Therefore think of the few things you have to purchase as a must and the things you can get at later point of time.

1 collar with a leash

  "Slip collar" or a so called eductional collar with rounded chain links. Therefore the hair can't be caught in the collar.
 
    

1 food bowl
1 water bowl

   It's best to take one made out of ceramic, so the dog can't push
the bowls around. Prefer narrow and some what higher bowls, so
the dog can't hang his ears into the feed.
 
   
  That is what maybe happens, if there is no waterbowl

.. Toys

  Preferably plush toys, or toys made out of cloth. Important:
Eyes made of glass, or plastic noses have to be removed.
(because of the danger of swallowing!)
 
 
    

.. Food stock

   At the beginning it's best to use the same feed like the breeder has used. Later you can change to an other preferred brand.
 

.. Chewing bones

   At the beginning you shouldn't use too big ones.
 
 
    

1 dog bed small

   We, for our part, preferred to have a correct dog bed from the beginning instead of a simple cardboard box. The small bed
serves as a very good transport carriage at the pick up of the puppy. (Time of accommodation)
 

1 dog bed (bigger one)

   The puppy grows up very fast and therefore the dog needs more space.
 
     

1 comb (coarse)
1 comb (fine)
1 brush
